The painting "The accession of the French to Moscow" was performed by the artist Pecurov, Yuri Borisovich, in 2012 in a facsimile reproduction technique. The first units of the French army were only a few kilometres away from the city, ready to enter it through the Doroholic outpost and the same name bridge in western Moscow.
