Avers: has a narrow white field on the right, where the figure "1" is shown up in the frame, the rest of the space is filled with the background, smoothly changing the color from beige to the saloon. The right background ends with a squiggly line. There is a narrower frame with a nominal value of '1', on top of which the inscription "One rouble". More to the left is the 1956 coat of arms of the USSR with 15 reelms of the ribbon. At the top of the bill is an ornament in the form of the letter "P"
