The casing is metallic, on both sides of the hull, in two basement, one at the end of the body. The handle is wooden, and is tonic with a thickening of the sides. Side arms fastenings for the handle metal, square in the section, are limited to the oblong lug on the position of the cover. The top of the iron (cap) is opened and there is a metal-lock with a wooden handle. The bottom edge of the cover is wavy.
